HÖNNUÐUR NJÁLUREFILSINS

Kristín Ragna Gunnarsdóttir
útskrifaðist úr grafískri hönnun frá Myndlista- og handíðaskóla Íslands 1992
og var gestanemi í málun við sama skóla. Hún lauk BA-prófi í bókmenntafræði
og ritlist frá Háskóla Íslands. Kristín Ragna hefur haldið margar einkasýningar
á verkum sínum og hlotið Dimmalimm - íslensku myndskreytiverðlaunin í tvígang.
Kristín er sjálfstætt starfandi teiknari, textahöfundur og kennari.

THE ARTIST OF THE NJALA TAPESTRY

Kristín Ragna Gunnarsdóttir designed the pictures printed on the tapestry for sewing.
She graduated in graphic design from The Icelandic Arts- and Crafts School in 1992.
She studied painting at the same school as a guest student and has a BA-degree
in literature and creative writing from The University of Iceland. Kristín Ragna has held many private exhibitions of her work and has won Dimmalimm - The Icelandic
Illustration Award twice. Kristín works as a freelance artist, writer and teacher.
